•Family Man:

Vincent has been happily married to his wife, Mary Williams, for an impressive 34 years.

Together, they have four children

and are proud grandparents to seven beautiful grandchildren.
 

•Business Owner:

Vincent and Mary are the proprietors of Hunter’s Café in Jackson, GA.

Additionally, they own Hunter Williams-Logistics LLC and Hunter-Williams Properties LLC,

contributing to the local economy and fostering community growth.
 

•Educational Achievements:

Vincent’s brother, James Vincent Williams, hails from Griffin, Georgia. He holds a Business Administration degree (B.S.B.A) and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (M.S.H.R.) from Trident International University. His leadership skills were further honed through an MBA program and certification from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.
 

•Military Service:

Vincent’s dedication extends to his 27-year career in the United States Navy,

where he served as a Gulf War veteran.

His discipline, leadership, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark.
 

•Mentoring Youth:

After retiring from the Navy, Vincent channeled his passion for mentoring youth.

As the Naval Science Instructor at Jackson High School, he significantly increased NJROTC enrollment,

making it the largest NJROTC unit in Georgia.

His accolades include the Star Teacher award and the Extra Mile Award for outstanding dedication to students.
 

•Community Engagement:

Vincent actively volunteers with food banks, assisting families in need and the homeless.

He has organized food supply drives for storm victims,

demonstrating his compassion and community spirit.

Vincent ran for office in the city special election in March 2021,

stepping up to replace a councilman who resigned.

His re-election in the November 2, 2021, election marked his first full term,

and he now serves as a dedicated member of the Locust Grove community.

 

•Acting Mayor:

Following the passing of Mayor Robert Price,

Vincent Williams assumed the role of Mayor Pro Tem (Acting Mayor) for Locust Grove,

continuing his commitment to public service.
Vincent Williams embodies integrity, leadership, and a genuine desire to move Locust Grove forward.

he aims to create a brighter future for all residents.
